Teenager found with large kitchen knife and metal spanner on Portland
A group of teenagers were discovered by officers inside the public toilets at Easton Gardens
A teenager has been arrested after being found with a large kitchen knife and a metal spanner on Portland.
Officers found a group of teenagers inside the public toilets in Easton Gardens on Monday afternoon.
One of the group was detained for a stop and search.
A spokesperson for Weymouth and Portland Police said:
"Due to the presence of drug paraphernalia, one male was detained for a stop and search. During the stop and search, a metal Spanner and a large Kitchen Knife were located. The male was subsequently arrested."
A 19-year-old man's been charged with possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.
