Teenager sexually assaulted and 'kidnapped' in Weymouth

A teenage girl's been sexually assaulted and put into a vehicle in a Weymouth car park - with two men arrested.
The 17 year old victim reported being inappropriately touched in the Swannery car park on Radipole Park Drive at around 10.00pm on Monday ngith (7th August).
She was also allegedly put into a vehicle, driven to the other end of the car park, before getting out and into another car.
A 23 year old Weymouth man has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and kidnap.
A 26 year old man from Portland has been arrested on suspicion of kidnap.
We're told the arrested men and the victim are known to each other.
There's now an appeal for any witnesses to get in touch with Dorset Police.
Investigations Officer Florence Winstanley, of Dorset County CID, said:
“I understand the town centre was busy around the time of the incident and I am keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed what happened.
“There were two people sitting nearby who spoke to the victim after the incident and I am appealing for them to come forward as they may have information to help our enquiries.”
