Teenager assaulted in Sherborne's Pageant Gardens

The 16 year old suffered a swollen eye and bruised ribs

A teenager's been assaulted in Sherborne's Pageant Gardens, with police now appealing for witnesses.

The 16 year old victim was walking with two friends at around 5.50pm on Tuesday 1st November, when two male teenagers approached them.

He was grabbed and assaulted by them, suffering a swollen eye and bruising to his ribs.

One of the suspects is described as:

  • White
  • Around 16 years old
  • Five feet seven inches tall
  • Slim to medium build
  • Short dark hair
  • Wearing a dark puffa-style jacket with a fur lined hood

The other suspect is described as:

  • White
  • Around 16 years old
  • Six feet tall
  • Medium build
  • Wearing a grey hooded top

PC Matt Robinson, of Sherborne police, said:

“This was a nasty unprovoked assault and we have been conducting various enquiries to identify those responsible.

“Our investigation remains ongoing and I would urge anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area, or who has any information that might assist our enquiries, to please make contact with us.”
