Shopworker punched and racially abused in Bournemouth

A teenage woman is helping police with enquiries

A shop worker has been punched in the face by a woman attempting to return clothes to a shop in Bournemouth.

It happened at the Sovereign Centre in Boscombe on the afternoon of September 19th.

The offender also kicked the till, threw clothes off the rails and shouted racial abuse towards the male staff member.

Dorset Police say a teenage woman has now come forward after an image appeal, and is helping them with their enquiries.

Following an image appeal, a woman in her late teens has come forward and is assisting officers with their enquiries.

No arrests have been made.
