Thieves forced entry to a garage on Spetisbury High Street

Some expensive power tools have been stolen during a burglary near Blandford.

Thieves forced entry to a garage at a home on Spetisbury High Street at around 2.30am on Wednesday 19th April.

Makita and Ryobi tools were taken - all of which were marked with 'Joules' in permanent red marker pen.

PC Jack Lawford, of Dorset Police, said:

“We are conducting enquiries into this burglary, and I am keen to hear from any witnesses or anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the vicinity around the relevant timeframe.

“I would also like to speak to anyone who come across power tools of the makes detailed above being offered for sale locally or online in suspicious circumstances.”
