Man to face no further action following Poole arson investigation

A man arrested in connection with 14 suspected arson cases in Poole will face no further action.

Dorset Police say the man in his 40's, previously arrested, has been released without charge.

Officers have been investigating suspicious fires dating back from December 2023 up to November last year.

Local residents have provided CCTV and other information towards their enquiries.

Police say they'll continue to work with the local authority and the community to provide crime prevention advice, offer reassurance and help prevent further reports of crime and anti-social behaviour in the area.
