Motorbike rider suffers life-threatening injuries after crash near Burton Bradstock
Police were called to Cliff Road yesterday afternoon
A motorbike rider has been seriously injured after a crash near Burton Bradstock.
The collision on Cliff Road was reported to police at 12.09pm yesterday (Sunday 23 April).
It involved a motorcycle, ridden by a man in his 60s.
He was taken to hospital with serious injuries, which are believed to be life-threatening.
A road closure was out in place and motorists were asked to please avoid the area.
Police Sergeant Mark Burton, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “We are investigating what happened and I am appealing for any witnesses to the incident itself or the moments leading up to it to please come forward.
“Also, I am keen to hear from any motorists who were travelling in the area with a dashcam fitted to their vehicle and may have captured something of relevance."
