Man taken to hospital after car hits tree in A35 Puddletown Bypass crash
Police were called to the accident on Saturday night
A man has been taken to hospital after a car left the A35 Puddletown Bypass and hit a tree.
Dorset Police say they received a report of the crash at 8.24pm on Saturday ( 8 October) night.
It was reported that the tree had fallen down and was blocking the road.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said:
"One man was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.
"The local authority was contacted in relation to the fallen tree."
Road closures were put in place and the road was reopened at around 11pm.
