Man stabbed during serious assault in Bournemouth

A man in his 20s has been attacked in Slades Farm Road

A man in his 20s have suffered two stab wounds to his leg, during a serious assault in Bournemouth.

The victim, and a friend, were involved in a 'verbal exchange' with three men outside the convenience store on Columbia Road at around 7.00pm last Friday night (10th February).

They walked away, before seeing the same group later on, and being chased into Slades Farm Road.

The victim fell to the ground and was then assaulted.

He needed hospital treatment for his injuries, but they're not thought to be life-threatening.

The suspects are described as:

  • White males
  • Aged in their late teens
  • One was tall and of slim build
  • Brown hair
  • Wearing a full grey tracksuit
  • Second suspect was five feet nine inches tall
  • Wearing a dark Puffa-style jacket
  • Face covered with a scarf and hood
  • Third suspect was five feet seven inches tall
  • Bridged nose
  • Short dark hair
  • Wearing a black tracksuit

Detective Constable Nick Whittaker, of Bournemouth CID, said:

“We have been carrying out a number of enquiries into this incident, including a trawl of CCTV in the vicinity and house-to-house enquiries.

“I would urge anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area, or who has information relating to those involved, to please contact us.

“I would also ask any residents with home CCTV or doorbell cameras, or motorists with dash cams who were driving in the area, to please check their footage for the evening of Friday 10 February 2023 for anything that might assist our investigation.”
