Man sought following theft of minibus in Weymouth

Police have released an image of someone they want to identify

Police investigating the theft of a minibus in Weymouth have shared an image of a man they're looking to identify.

The vehicle's alleged to have been taken by a man and woman in Melcombe Regis on the morning of Sunday 22nd September.

Officers found the minibus in Bradpole around 45 minutes later, and a man made off from the scene.

A 33 year old woman from Weymouth was arrested on suspicion of theft, burglary and driving offences.

She remains on police bail while enquiries continue.

PC Jasper Beauchamp-Woodward, of Dorset Police, said:

“Despite ongoing efforts, we have so far not been able to identify the man believed to be involved.

“I am now in a position to issue an image of the man and would ask anyone with information about his identity to please get in touch.”
