A man's been airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries following a crash in Dorset.

It happened on the A354 at Milborne St Andrew, near Bere Regis, yesterday evening.

A motorcyclist in his 30s from Weymouth was involved in a collision with a car.

Police are appealing for dashcam footage.

Sergeant Lee Savage, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “We are investigating this matter to establish the full circumstances of the collision and I am appealing for any witnesses to the incident to please contact us.

“I would also urge anyone who was travelling along the A354 in the area on the evening of Friday 23 February 2024 to please review any dashcam footage to see if they have captured the collision or the motorcycle involved in the moments leading up to it.

“Finally, I would like to thank members of the public for their patience and understanding while the road closures are in place. These closures allow for the emergency services to safely respond and for a full examination of the scene to be conducted.”
