'Lack of respect': Anger over beach litter
Figures show how much rubbish was left behind
Campaigners have spoken of their shock and frustration as stats show just how much rubbish was left behind on the south's beaches this summer.
In Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, 105 tonnes of litter was collected from the sand.
That's despite 400 super-sized bins on the seafront.
Bianca Carr, from the environmental campaign group Final Straw Foundation, said: "If we can start making people respect the products that they have, use reusable bottles, cups and all sorts of things like that, then we wouldn't need these massive bins to throw these things away.
"We also wouldn't have people leaving so much waste because we would be taking it away with us as we'd be using it all again."
