Images released in renewed appeal into Wool assault
A farmer was attacked in a field earlier this month
Police investigating an assault on a farmer in a field near Wool have released new images as part of a renewed appeal for information.
The victim was attacked on land of East Burton Road at around 5.30pm on Tuesday 6th September.
He drove onto the land and saw a dog chasing sheep and tried to protect the animals.
The dog owner approached the farmer and assaulted him - before asking the man to get control of his dog.
The man then took the keys to the victim's vehicle and assaulted him again, eventually leaving in the direction of Wool bridge.
Dorset Police have released the images, in the hope someone might recognise the man pictured.
PC Michael Wells said:
“Our enquiries are continuing into this incident to identify the man involved.
“I am now in a position to issue an image of a man I would like to identify and would ask anyone who recognises him to please get in touch.”
