Homes left without power after fire near Shillingstone
6 crews were called out to the blaze
There's been a large fire at an industrial premises near Shillingstone.
Six fire engines were sent to tackle the blaze which broke out just after 6pm last night.
Some homes temporarily lost power while crews brought the fire under control.
A spokesperson for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue said:
"Firefighters were called to reports of an industrial premises on fire on the outskirts of Shillingstone. At the height of this incident we had six fire engines and a water carrier on the scene.
"Firefighters are using multiple hose reels and compressed air foam to bring the fire under control."
The fire caused some power disruption to the village of Shillingstone which was restored by around 10pm.
