Historic church devastated by "significant" fire

More than 50 firefighters have been dealing with a "significant" fire that ripped through an historic church in Christchurch.

Smoke from All Saints Church in Mudeford could be seen for miles around on Thursday evening.

Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said 12 fire engines were sent to the scene after the fire was reported shortly after 8.00pm.

It is not yet clear how the fire started.
