£30,000 of fuel stolen in East Dorset

It's been taken across two incidents in less than six weeks

An estimated £30,000 worth of fuel has been stolen from East Dorset.

The theft's taken place, on Verwood Road in Ashley Heath, across two incidents in recent weeks - on Tuesday 29th November and Saturday 7th January.

In both cases, offenders parked outside a property between midnight and 2.00am, climbed over the fence and pumped the fuel into a tanker.

Police Community Support Investigator Kayleigh Hole, of North Dorset police, said:

“This has had a significant financial impact and efforts are underway to establish those responsible.

“I would ask anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area, or captured anything of relevance on dashcam or CCTV footage, to please get in touch.”
