Four people arrested on suspicion of Bournemouth arson
Police were initially called to a 'disturbance' in Capstone Place
Four people have been arrested on suspicion of arson in Bournemouth.
Police were called to a house in Capstone Place in Springbourne just before 6.15am this morning (Thursday 23rd November), after reports of a disturbance and found a fire inside.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue then attended, telling us th eblaze began on the first floor, before spreading to the roof space.
The fire also affected the roof of the property next door.
Three men are being questioned on suspicion of arson, with a woman also arrested on suspicion of arson, who was taken to hospital for treatment for injuries she suffered during the incident.
One of the men has additionally been arrested on suspicion of assault.
Dorset Police say their enquiries are ongoing.
Firefighters have remained on the scene through the morning, using an aerial platform to strip roof tiles away, and check for hot spots.
