Five teenagers arrested following Dorchester robbery

Five teenagers have been arrested in connection with a robbery in Dorchester, which targeted a 16 year old boy.

The victim was walking with friends on Trinity Street near to Iceland, at around 6.20pm on Wednesday 15th February, when they were stopped by a group of male youths.

One of the group's alleged to have grabbed the teenager and stole his jacket.

A 13-year-old boy, two boys aged 14 and two 15-year-old boys, who are all from Poole, has been were arrested on suspicion of robbery.

One of the 15-year-old boys has also been questioned on suspicion of possessing of offensive weapon in a public place.

They have all been released on police bail while enquiries continue.

PC James Janssen, of Dorchester police, said:

“I am continuing to investigate this incident and would ask any witnesses who may have seen what happened to please come forward.”
