Appeal after driver fails to stop for police in Bournemouth

The occupants were eventually arrested on suspicion of driving offences

A driver's failed to stop of police in Bournemouth, with police now looking to hear from witnesses or those with dashcam footage.

Officers tried to pull over a silver Vauxhall Insignia at around midday yesterday (Thursday 2nd January) on Poole Hill.

The vehicle then carried on to the A338 Wessex Way and eventually came to a stop near the Ashley Heath roundabout.

The occupants were arrested on suspicion of driving offences.

Dorset Police Sergeant Samuel Kinsella said: “I am carrying out enquiries into this incident and would ask anyone who saw what happened to please come forward.

“I would like to appeal to anyone who was driving in any of the roads mentioned and has a dashcam fitted to their vehicle to please check for any relevant footage.”
