Cyclist seriously injured in Poole crash

Police have launched an appeal for dashcam footage

A cyclist has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a collision with an SUV in Poole.

The man, who is in his 20s and from the town, was riding on Dorchester Road when the crash happened, at the junction with Ringwood Road, at around 4.55pm on Thursday (March 21st).

Dorset Police said the incident happened at a busy time of day, and are asking for any witnesses who have not already spoken to officers to get in touch.

They would also like to hear from any motorists who were travelling in the area and may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage.
