Crash closes part of Weymouth Relief Road

Dorset Police say two vehicles were involved

Part of Weymouth Relief Road has has had to be closed following a crash this morning (Friday 18th November).

Dorset Police say two vehicles were involved in a crash between Jurassic Roundabout and Veasta Roundabout.

It was reported to police at 9.05am.

Fire and ambulance crews were also called to the scene.

A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said:

“We were called at 09.06hrs to a road traffic collision in the Weymouth area. We sent two double-crewed land ambulances and conveyed one patient to Dorset County Hospital.”

Dorset Police tell us the road was cleared and fully reopened just after midday.
