CCTV shared after ring stolen from Christchurch jewellers
The jewellery was taken in a distraction theft incident
Police in Christchurch have shared a CCTV image after an expensive ring was stolen from a town centre jewellery store.
The item, worth £5,750, was taken in a distraction theft at Hamilton Jewellers in Pound Lane at around 5.00pm on 26th April.
The details have just been released by officers, along with a picture of a man and woman they're looking to trace.
Police Community Support Investigator Mike Cannings, of Dorset Police, said: “This ring was of significant financial value, and we have been carrying out enquiries to try and recover it.
“I am now in a position to issue images of a man and a woman we would like to speak to as part of our investigation and would urge anyone with information regarding their identities to please contact us.”
