CCTV: Man sought after two thefts from Portland supermarket

£250 worth of items was stolen over the two incidents

CCTV images have been released by police on Portland, as they investigate two separate thefts from a supermarket.

A man entered the Tesco store at around midday on August 10th, and took £118 worth of items without paying.

Just over a week later, on August 19th, the same man is thought to have taken £132 worth of items from the same store.

PC Joy Atkins, of Weymouth police, said:

“We are continuing to investigate these thefts and I am issuing CCTV images of a man we would like to identify as part of our enquiries.

“I would urge anyone with information regarding his identity to please contact us.”
