Car ends up on its roof in river near Martinstown
Two people have been taken to hospital
Two people were taken to hospital after a car ended up on its roof in a river near Dorchester.
Firefighters were called to the scene near the village of Martinstown at around 3.40pm on Saturday afternoon. ( 10 December)
Firefighters gave first aid to the two occupants of the car, who were then taken to hospital.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said:
"It was reported that the vehicle had left the carriageway and overturned.
"Two people were taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that were not believed to be serious.
"Officers left the scene at around 4.30pm."
