Arrest made following Upton fail-to-stop collision

A man's been arrested after a reported fail-to-stop collision near Upton, that left a man seriously injured.

The crash happened on Sunday 15th December on the A350 Blandford North Road at Lytchett Heath.

Two cars were involved - a grey Volkswagen Golf and a silver Peugeot 2008.

The driver of the Golf got out and left the scene - while a man in his 60's driving the Peugeot suffered a serious leg injury.

A 29-year-old man from Bournemouth has since been arrested on suspicion of driving offences.

He's been released under investigation while further enquiries are carried out.
