Airline reports 'truly phenomenal' demand for new Bournemouth flights
Jet2 will operate up to 27 weekly flights from Bournemouth Airport

Airline and tour operator Jet2 is reporting "strong and sustained demand" after offering flights and package holidays from Bournemouth Airport next year.
The 16 new routes to tourist destinations including Turkey, Greece Spain, Portugal and Greece went on sale in March.
Up to 27 weekly flights will operate during the summer of 2025 with the first due to depart to Tenerife on 1 April.
Steve Heapy, Jet2 chief executive, said: "From day one, and over the last four weeks, the response to our award-winning flights and holidays going on sale from Bournemouth Airport has been truly phenomenal, and we are delighted at how well the launch has been received.
"Since launching one month ago, we saw an immediate surge in bookings from Bournemouth Airport, and that demand shows no sign of slowing down."
The company said the top five performing destinations from Bournemouth Airport are Antalya, Tenerife, Dalaman, Majorca and Rhodes.

Fuerteventura – weekly services (Wednesdays)
Gran Canaria – weekly services (Sundays)
Lanzarote – up to two weekly services (Mondays, Fridays)
Alicante – up to two weekly services (Tuesdays, Saturdays)
Palma (Mallorca) – up to four weekly services (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays)
Ibiza - up to two weekly services (Thursdays, Sundays)
Menorca – weekly services (Sundays)
Antalya – up to two weekly services (Wednesdays, Saturdays)
Dalaman – up to two weekly services (Thursdays, Sundays)
Faro (Algarve) – up to two weekly services (Mondays, Fridays)
Madeira – weekly services (Thursdays) – exclusive from Bournemouth Airport.
Crete (Heraklion) – weekly services (Tuesdays)
Corfu – weekly services (Wednesdays)
Rhodes – weekly services (Tuesdays)
