A second man has been charged after two teenagers and a 20-year-old woman were injured in a suspected deliberate hit-and-run in Handsworth last Saturday (27 July)

The woman was left with a broken leg when it happened on Burton Wood Drive. The two teenagers - a boy and girl - suffered severe cuts and bruises.

A Nissan Quashqai mounted the pavement just before 2:30pm and struck the three pedestrians.

Jordan Hepburn, 20, is the second man to be charged with attempted murder.

A man in his 50s was charged with the same offence earlier this week.
