A man from Wolverhampton's starting four and a half years in jail for running a drugs network in Gloucestershire and the West Midlands.
Zhero Samuels from the Newhampton Road West area was caught with Class As after his vehicle was seen travelling between Birmingham and Cheltenham multiple times.
Police found that the 26 year old was supplying class A drugs to the Cheltenham area between August 2022 and August 2023.
He was arrested on the 25th of August 2023 and in a search of his car police found a phone where they found bulk text messages of Samuels offering the sale of Heroin and Crack Cocaine.
It was also found that Samuels had recruited three teenage girls to deal drugs in Cheltenham who were found with £2140 worth of drugs in their possession.
The three girls were arrested but no further action was taken against them as they were believed to have been exploited by Samuels.
Investigating officer PC Damian Pearson from Gloucestershire Police said:
“Zhero Samuels exploited other individuals into dealing drugs for him and unknown people and now that he has been jailed it stops others from being targeted by him.
“His involvement led to him being jailed and this case goes to show just how thorough our enquiries are and how determined we are in the fight against those who think they can supply and deal drugs within Gloucestershire."
Samuels was also ordered to forfeit £2855 and pay a surcharge of £228.
