Man in hospital following collision between pedestrian and car in Erdington

A man's been taken to hospital following a collision between a pedestrian and a car in Erdington.

The incident happened on Kingsbury Road at the junction of Forge Lane at around 5:52am this morning.

The man, who's in his 60s and was the pedestrian, is in hospital with injuries which aren't believed to be life threatening.

Police are asking for any witnesses to the collision, or anyone who has dashcam or CCTV footage, to contact them.
