Polls open for local elections across the West Midlands
Polling stations are open until 10pm tonight.
Polling stations across the West Midlands have opened for local elections.
They are being held across England and Wales at 107 councils, as well as 11 mayoral contests and 37 police and crime commissioner elections.
Voters are being reminded to bring a valid form of ID.
In the West Midlands, voters in Walsall, Dudley, Solihull, Sandwell, Coventry and Wolverhampton will have their say in local council elections.
They will also, alongside people in Birmingham, be voting for the next West Midlands mayor and the region's Police and Crime Commissioner.
In Warwickshire, seats at both Rugby Borough Council and Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council are to be elected. Voters will also decide on the next Warwickshire Police and Crime Commissioner.
In Worcestershire, there are elections for Worcester City Council and Redditch Borough Council.
Voters in Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Shropshire will also be voting for the next West Mercia Police and Crime Commissioner.
Polling stations are open until 10pm.
