Birmingham teenager charged with attempted murder
A 16 year old was found with serious injuries earlier this month
A Birmingham teenager has been charged with attempted murder after another teenager was seriously injured in Birmingham.
A 16-year-old boy was found with a serious arm injury following a disorder in Belchers Lane, Birmingham, on 17 May.
He was taken to hospital with a machete injury where he remains in a stable condition.
Following enquiries police identified the suspect and the teenage boy was detained.
The 16-year-old boy who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with attempted murder, and possession of a bladed article, and is set to appear before Birmingham Youth Court today.
