Teenager named following fatal crash in Basingstoke

A 17-year-old boy who tragically died following a collision in Basingstoke has been named as Kylan Mulligan.

Police were called to Winchester Road at the junction of Pittard Road at around 4:13pm on Friday 14th November 2025, following reports of a collision involving a silver Vauxhall Insignia and a white Sinnis Apache motorcycle.

Kylan, from Basingstoke, was the rider of the motorcycle. He sadly died at the scene.

Specialist officers are supporting Kylan's family, who have shared a statement describing their devastation.

"We are devastated by our sudden loss, we are working to come to terms with the void left by his absence and we request space and privacy at this time.

"At the same time, we would like to thank the emergency services and the public for their help after the crash, this means a lot to us."

Officers are continuing their investigation into the collision and are appealing for witnesses.

Anyone who saw the incident or has relevant dash cam or CCTV footage is urged to contact the police to assist with their inquiries.
