Police appeal for information after burglary at jewellers in Hartley Wintney

Items were stolen from A W Porter and Son jewellers

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a burglary at A W Porter and Son jewellers in Hartley Wintney.

The incident took place at around 2.47am on Wednesday 3rd December at the shop located on High Street.

It was reported that entry to the store was forced and items were stolen. Officers are continuing to investigate the scene and determine what was taken.

No arrests have been made, and an investigation is underway.

Police are keen to hear from witnesses who may have information about the incident.

A spokesperson said: “We appreciate it was in the early hours of the morning, but were you in the High Street area at the time? Did you see or hear anything that may help our investigation?

“We are also keen to hear from anyone who remembers seeing any suspicious activity in this area in the days leading up to the burglary.”
