Following the very exciting news that The X Factor's Saara Aalto and RuPaul's Drag Race UK's Baga Chipz have teamed up to release a collab called 'When The Sun Goes Down', Jordan Lee had the song's first play this morning (11th September) on Hits Radio Pride.
And, if that wasn't enough Saara and Baga had a huge surprise for our Breakfast presenter. Telling Jordan that they were going to record their music video next week, Saara said, "Quick question, I think, honestly, it's a girl power video, but I think you should be in it as well!"
Caught off guard, Jordan replied, "Are you being serious?"
Saara confirmed she was being serious explaining, "You had the first play, you should be in the video!" We CANNOT wait to see this!
After a bit of persuasion, Jordan accepted, admitting he'd look forward to the feathers, glitter and sequins.
The pair announced their collab on Wednesday with a spoof news report video on YouTube, captioning it, 'Saara Aalto & Baga Chipz are gonna make 2020 MUCH BETTA with their collaboration ‘When The Sun Goes Down’.'
Throughout the video the 'news reporters' compare this latest pairing to the likes of Kylie and Jason, and Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande.
Not only is Saara and Baga a huge collab in itself, the pair also have a very talented team behind them, with producers Red Triangle, who have worked with the likes of Little Mix, David Guetta, and One Direction.
Finnish singer, Saara Aalto rose to fame after taking part in The X Factor, and more recently Dancing On Ice, where she wowed everyone with her talent of singing and ice dancing simultaneously.
Meanwhile, Baga Chipz has recently been announced for ITV2’s Celebrity Karaoke Club.
