Here's how to give your Instagram an extra pop of colour for Pride Month this June! In 2020, Instagram launched a whole new range of features as part of Pride Month, including setting your Instagram Story ring to a rainbow. The social platform introduced fun new features every year to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community.

Want to make your Story ring into a rainbow? It's simple! All you have to do is use one of Instagram's pride stickers on your Story, which can be found at the top of the sticker page, and then your story ring will remain a rainbow for the rest of Pride month!

Once you have selected one of the pride stickers, Instagram will provide you with a message reading, 'Using a Pride sticker will turn your story ring rainbow', just for that extra bit of confirmation!

The rainbow, of course, reflects the colours in the rainbow Pride Flag, and the story ring isn't the only new feature Instagram are rolling out! Other features for Pride Month include new filters and rainbow hashtags.

When using hashtags like #LGBTQ and #Pride, they will appear in a rainbow gradient.
