Two teens charged after 12 year old girl stabbed in Barry

Two boys - aged 13 and 15 - are due before Cardiff Magistrates Court.

The two teenagers have been charged with causing GBH with intent.

Police have charged two teenage boys in connection with the stabbing of a 12 year old girl in Barry.

A 13 and 15 year old are due to appear before Cardiff Magistrates Court - charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

South Wales Police say they were called to an area near the Harbour Road carpark on Barry Island on Sunday at around 5pm.

The girl suffered multiple injuries and she remains in hospital.
