Two people arrested after man suffers serious stab wounds in Margate
Kent Police rushed to the scene together with ambulance services
Two people have been arrested in connection with the serious stabbing of a man in Margate.
Kent Police were alerted to an incident taking place on Cowper Road in Margate just after 6:30pm on Friday (December 13th).
When officers arrived on the scene following reports of an assault, they found that a man had been the victim of a stabbing.
Responders called on the South East Coast Ambulance Service to come to the scene, and the victim was taken to a hospital in London for treatment.
In a statement released by Kent Police, the victim currently remains in a serious condition as he is treated for his stab wounds.
Police confirmed that a 32-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman were arrested in connection with the incident and currently remain in police custody.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing and police are now appealing to those who may have been in the area at the time of the stabbing to get in touch as soon as possible.

Those who may have CCTV footage of the area in the moments before or after the attack are being particularly welcomed by police.
