Strictly viewers outraged at result of bottom two

Week 11 is now over!

It's fair to say this year's series of Strictly Come Dancing is showcasing some exceptional talent, with the majority of this year's celebrity line-up all impressing the judges and viewers at home.

With the final fast-approaching, Week 11 took place over the weekend, as the final six couples all competed in Musicals Week.

After some impressive scores from the likes of JB Gill, Sarah Hadland and Tasha Ghouri, the result of the dance-off left viewers at home outraged, as Tasha found herself in the bottom two alongside Montell Douglas.

Tasha and her partner Aljaž scored 38/40 for their Argentine Tango, whilst Montell and her partner Johannes scored 32/40.

Following the tense dance-off, three out of four judges chose to save Tasha and Aljaž, which meant Montell's Strictly journey came to an end after 11 amazing weeks.

During the result's show, fans were quick to express their outrage at the votes. One wrote: 'Neither montell or tasha deserved to be in that dance off, I’m so upset! these two women should have been finalists!'. (sic)

Another added: 'The elimination of Shayne and Montell was the saddest of the season. They were both eliminated doing a Rumba. They were both wronged by the public and really wanted to stay. And both had no dance experience and were some of the best in the competition this year'. (sic)

Another upset fan commented 'Strictly always been a popularity contest tbh not shocked just annoyed😒', with somebody else writing: 'What a joke! I guess strictly is now a popularity contest and not a dance contest. Montell didn’t deserve this. 💔'. (sic)

Another urged the BBC to change the voting system, writing: 'Dear BBC I think you really need to shake up the programme and the voting system next year. Ok the viewer likes to see a journey but poor Montell this week and Jamie last week. This is beyond now and needs to be sorted out. How has this affected Montell to be constantly in the bottom 2 and not even deserving it she is also a non dancer and working so hard What a classy lady ❤️'. (sic)
