Bizarre optical illusion goes viral - but which colours do YOU see?

They're actually all brown!

Every so often, something pops up on the Internet that makes pretty much everyone who sees it totally obsessed. It soon spreads and intoxicates all the people they share it with, until it seems as though every single resident of the UK is talking about it - whatever it is!

In January, it was those Louis Vuitton trainers, we've all seen the pink/grey shoes and everyone remembers that dress. But now there's a brand new illusion to feast your eyes on.

THOSE Louis Vuitton trainers

Although the original tweet was posted last year, it's doing the rounds again on Twitter after it was shared by money expert Martin Lewis. He wrote, 'I'm totally amazed by this - I keep zooming in to see it. Superb design.'

The picture shows 12 3D spheres with loads of lines layered over it. Of course, we will all see different things, but it looks as though all the spheres are different colours... Until you focus your eyes on one sphere, and then they become brown! It also works by zooming in on the picture.

People online couldn't see their eyes, with many replying to the tweet in awe. One wrote, 'Amazing! When opening as a picture zoomed in its actually easy to see they are all brown,' as another added, 'We have no idea what the world really looks like. Our brains, man.'

The tweeter has attributed the image to David Novick, who designs optical illusions and posts many of them on his own Twitter page.

Incredible stuff!
