A lot of McDonald's limited edition items are being taken off the menu

They were released for its 50th birthday!

If you're a lover of fast-food chain McDonalds (let's be real, who isn't TBH?), you've probably been simply obsessed with the brand new limited edition menu, in celebration of the restaurant's 50th birthday!

However, fans of the restaurant will be sad to learn a lot of the menu items will be taken off the menu from Wednesday 3rd September.

What was on the McDonald's birthday menu?

McDonald's added three brand new desserts to their menu between Wednesday 17th July- Wednesday 3rd September, including a Birthday Cake Donut, a Milkybar Raspberry Ripple McFlurry, and a Munchies Cookie Dough McFlurry.

Another new addition to the menu was showstopping side, Cheesy Garlic Bread Dippers, whilst classics such as Double Big Mac Double Big Mac with Bacon, and McCrispy BBQ Smokehouse also returned.

Back on the menu for the first time since October 2023! This burger is made up of 100% chicken breast fillet in a crispy, crunchy coating with a smoky BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, red onion, lettuce, all in a delicious sourdough style sesame topped bun.

Including six Chicken Selects®, twelve Chicken McNuggets®, plus two McNuggets® dips and two Selects® dips. Cluckin' lovely.

When are they available?

The brand new menu launched at 11am on Wednesday 17th July 2024.

The menu items will not be available after Wednesday 3rd September 2024.

The limited edition products were available in all UK and Ireland McDonald's restaurants.
