Police are issuing an urgent warning about a drug in Stockton - which has left multiple people in hospital.

It's believed there could be a contaminated batch out there leading to overdoses.

Officers say they had reports of seven people being taken to North Tees General Hospital yesterday.

They are all believed to be suffering the effects of a drug called Zopiclone.

The death of one man who is believed to have taken it as well is also being investigated.

They're urging anyone who has information or concern about drugs in the local community to come forward.
