Some of wrestling’s biggest superstars are heading to Glasgow as WWE brings Clash At The Castle to the Hydro.

It is the first time the company has held a Premium Live Event in Scotland, with the show on Saturday June 15th acting as a homecoming for Ayr’s Drew McIntyre, who is competing for the World Heavyweight Championship at this Sunday’s WrestleMania in Philadelphia.

WWE is also home to a number of other Scottish wrestlers including Alba Fyre, Isla Dawn, Piper Niven, Nikki Cross, Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, Wolfgang and Noam Dar.

As well as Clash At The Castle, WWE has also confirmed the June 14th episode of Friday Night

WWE President Nick said: “We are excited to bring both Friday Night SmackDown and Clash At The Castle: Scotland to our amazing fans in Scotland at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow this June.

“The world will see that this is one of the UK’s best venues and Scottish crowds are some of the loudest, craziest and most passionate on the planet.”

The announcement follows the first Clash At The Castle which took place at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, in September 2022.

That event was also headlined by Drew McIntyre, who took on Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
