As the G7 begins in Cornwall, we can give you a special look at the International Media Centre in Falmouth, where journalists from around the world are based for the course of the event.

The National Maritime Museum has been taken over for the duration of the three day summit, with tight security featuring guards on every corner of the sealed off site and armed police.

Anyone accessing the area must not only have accreditation but also proof of a negative COVID test from the same day, whilst everyone is encouraged to wear a mask whilst walking around inside to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

As well as the museum itself which is housing various daily press briefings there are also two large marquees housing work stations for the hundreds of journalists in attendance.

On top of that there are several shops, cafes and restaurants on site.

Some have been forced to close but others remain open, catering to all the journalists and G7 staff.

If you want to see a tour of the media village, watch the video above.

The G7 leaders are staying at a separate location, the Carbis Bay Hotel in St Ives.
