Two teenagers charged after boy, 13, stabbed in Birmingham

Two teenagers have been charged after a 13-year-old boy was stabbed in Birmingham.

Police were called to Cottsmeadow Drive, Washwood Heath, at around 4pm on Wednesday afternoon (24 April).

The victim was stabbed in the stomach and leg, and is continuing to recover from his injuries. They are not believed to be life-threatening.

Two boys, aged 13 and 14, are accused of wounding with intent, and possession of a knife.

They are due to appear at Birmingham's youth court today (26 April).
