Two seriously hurt in school bus crash in Cornwall

A woman and a child have suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash between a school bus and a car in Mullion.

Police were called to Meaver Road at 8.40am on Monday 14th October.

A woman in her thirties and a young male child are being treated in hospital and their next of kin have been told.

Four children on the bus have been treated for minor injuries.

Police say officers from the Roads Policing Team would like to thank the public for their patience whilst investigations took place today.

They are working closely with the school to make sure that suitable support is in place for the children involved.
