Storm Ciaran is causing widespread disruption across the South and South West of England this morning.

Our Reporter Andrew Kay has the latest from the South West:

The South West and South of England have been the worst affected areas.

Our Neighbours in Northern France appear to have been hit with the brunt of it with winds of up to 100mph recorded.

There are Amber and Yellow weather warnings in place throughout large parts of the England and Wales today for Heavy Rain and Wind.

The South Coast and South West are particularly badly affected and have Amber warning in place.
