Kensington Palace has officially confirmed that the Prince of Wales did celebrate his 42nd birthday by watching Taylor Swift's opening gig at Wembley.

A picture's been posted of William, Prince George and Princess Charlotte backstage with the singer ahead of the concert last night.

The Princess of Wales stayed at home with Prince Louis.

Both Kensington Palace and Taylor Swift have posted about it on their social media accounts.

Videos have also been shared online which appear to show William, George and Charlotte dancing to Taylor's hit 'Shake It Off'.

The singer has two more shows at Wembley this weekend before her Eras Tour moves onto other European cities.

It will return for five more Wembley dates in August - and is expected to bring a £300 million boost to London's economy.
