Prince William defends Royal family against racism accusations
The Duke of Cambridge's comments were made after Harry and Meghan's interview with Oprah

The Duke of Cambridge has spoken out in defence of the Royal family following accusations of racism made by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, stating "We are very much not a racist family."
It comes after Prince Harry and Meghan told of conversations with senior Royals around the colour of their son Archie's skin during their interview with Oprah which aired earlier this week.
They refused to divulge in which member of the Royal family had made the comments, stating that it would be "very damaging" to the person involved.
However, Oprah has since said that Harry told her it was neither the Queen nor Prince Philip.
During his first public appearance since the interview dropped, Prince William responded a member of the press who asked "Is the Royal family a racist family, sir?" by stating "We are very much not a racist family."
His comments are the first public statement by any member of the Royal family regarding the allegations made during the interview, which was watched by up to 11 million people in the UK alone.
It comes after a statement was published by Buckingham Palace on behalf of the Queen on Tuesday, which described the claims surrounding race as "concerning" which would "addressed by the family privately".
On the same visit, Prince William was also asked if he had spoken to Harry, to which he replied: “No, I haven’t spoken to him yet, but I will do.”
