Two people have pleaded not guilty after appearing in court over a Just Stop Oil protest at the World Snooker Championship in Sheffield.

The match between Robert Milkins and Joe Perry was interrupted when orange powder was tipped onto one of the tables at The Crucible.

Exeter University student Eddie Whittingham denies criminal damage, while Margaret Reid from Kendal in Cumbia has pleaded not guilty to attempted criminal damage.

Both are due back in court in May.
