Two teenage boys arrested in connection with Oldbury stabbing

Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with the death of a 13-year-old boy in Oldbury near Birmingham.

West Midlands Police confirmed that the two teenagers were arrests over the murder of the boy which took place on Thursday (August 29th).

They added that the two teenagers arrested on suspicion of murder on Lovett Avenue were male.

It was announced that both suspects were arrested on Sunday (September 1st) and brought into police stations for questioning.

Officers said that both teenage boys remain in police custody and are being questioned by investigators.

In a statement released on their website, West Midlands Police added that the 13-year-old's family has been informed of the update in their investigation.

The force added: "Our thoughts remain with them at this devastating time."
